Docking a SFF box in a car

I remember seeing a little while ago seeing where someone had built a form-fitted, carpeted "dock" for a SFF in the back of a customized hatchback.

This was either British or Japanese, since I remember the right side drive.

Anyone know anything about this, or using a SFF as a removable carputer?
 
I was thinking of taking out the front passenger side airbag and building my own docking station for my car. Or a perm build in PC with WiFi inside dash.

I would advise against removing any saftey devices from your car, especially the air bags. IF you make a mistake in removing them you could set them off and that would be particularly ugly.
