for development and graphics work, invaluable.

I have 2 19" monitors on my main rig. I run it at 3200x1200.
I couldn't live without them.

Got a Dell 17'' LCD next to a 17" CRT here at work. Wish i had 2 LCDs, but the 2 monitor setup in general is great for work. Only one at home tho.

[QHalo]

I use two 17" dells at work. Love em.

[Ludic]

I use Synergy ( http://synergy2.sourceforge.net ) to allow me to use one keyboard and mouse to control two PC's and monitors. But if I'm not using Synergy, I use dual monitors, I like the extra real estate.

I used to have 2x17(ish)" LCDs, one running DVI (an LG Flatron L1800P) and one running VGA (an NEC)...

I just picked up 2xDell 2001FPs, running both DVI off two seperate 6800s (SLI disabled), and I'm loving 'em to bits. Not only is running both of them off DVI extremely nice, but having two identical monitors means they line up very nicely and it's not so much hassle going from one screen to another.

Two monitors (or more!) very much recommended!
