In BIOS and in my Gigabyte Easy tune it shows my E7300 idling at 24 C on stock cooling and doesnt reach above 40 while playing Crysis for an hour or so. Any other programs to determine accurate temps?

TJmax for both of those chips is actually 100C, not 95C. You need one of the newer Real Temp betas to get an accurate temperature reading. The current version is 2.90, which is quite a bit newer than the last "stable" build of 2.70.
 
Just a sec ago it was showing my idle as 18C for the processor and 34 for the GPU. Ridiculous.
 
The thing about Intel temperatures is that the sensors aren't really accurate until around 50C, so there's no way to know what the CPU is really running at. You'll need to use something like Prime95 or Orthos to get some real load temperature measurements.
