I am wondering if I can use Norton Ghost to ghost my Raptors and such?

As when installing win xp I have to install the RAID controller from a floppy disc so I have a feeling it might not work?

Ghost doesn't like RAID arrays unless setup a certain way. If the array is configured on the controller's hardware and not through software and is set where your OS sees the drive as one physical drive.

If the array is a softraid youre basically out of luck.

So I am home free using Abit NF7-S serial ATA and have my windows and applications on the RAID disks?

no go for me:mad:
ghost locks up if I have any drives connected to the ICH5R
headers(not raided on a DFI lp875b)

There is a known and documented issue with Ghost 7.5 and SATA drives. Ghost 7.0 usually works but has other issues sometimes with Windows XP's version of NTFS.
