I currently have a Live MP3+ (yep it's old). I was wondering if I'm missing out on anything not having a newer card. I'm not an audiophile but I do like to have decent sound for music and realistic effects for gaming (mostly BF2). I see Audigy 2's for about $50Can locally and it kinda got me wondering.

Also if anyone has a link to a page that compares features of all the newer sound cards I'd appreciate it. I have no clue what's going on with sound these days. Thanks!
