Hello. I have a old pci X-Fi soundcard, it was the first one out, probs about 5-6 years old maybe, if not older. I am not having any particular problems but wondering, would a newer pci-express one give me a few more FPS in games?
 
No, it will not improve fps. It may in older games, but you'll probably be running them at 200 fps anyway.
