I finished building My new comp with a 74 GB raptor and I installed xp fine and currently running flawless.While installing some things from the mobo cd I found Silicon SATA Raid drivers I was wondering Do I need to install these even though I dont have a raid.Just to be on the safe side

You need to install them if you want to use the integrated raid controller, I believe.
