Do i need ro replace my Power suplie?!

Just got my 6800 gt and i played pain killer for about 15 min. I left speedfan in the background run on monitor my 12v. this is what i have

12v = Max = 11.90
min = 11.58

and that’s alot of fluctuation... and i don’t like that on my new system. I heard some horror stoys about what bad vrails can do to your system. Help?

AMD Athlon 64 3400+, ClawHammer (Running Stock)

If 12V moves around, it's not a big problem... 12V is used to power mechanical things (fans, HD spindles) and regulators for Vcore and whatnot. These things don't care if there's a bit of variation on the rail. 3.3V and 5V moving are what you should worry about.

also, use a voltmeter and measure at the ATX connector - the voltage sensing stuff on computers tends to be way off. On my computer, MBM reads 10.9V on 12V, but the Fluke 179 says 11.8V.

well, ok. That makes me feel a bit better. Ill have to find a voltmeter though. Don’t think i have one. Also what would be bad movement on he other 2 rails? speed fan has been giving me a little movement on my 3, but i haven’t used the voltmeter
