Do I need lower temps?

Specs:
IWILL MPX2 with 2 x XP2800s
1.80 v - 140fsb X 16.5
Using Motherboard Monitor for system checks.
Case is open with 2-80mm exhaust fans. room temp is 65F

I'm running temps of 50-55 C for both CPUs when sitting idle.
Are these OK?
I mean , I see guys saying that they are running temps of 45-48 at full load on fan/hs cooling.
If I run full load.....I shoot to around 65C.

Is the higher voltage the cause of higher temps?
Do I need better HS and fans?
What do you recomend?
Am I worried about nuthin here?

You are overclocking a little, so that adds to the heat output as well as the extra voltage.

You're temps are kinda high, but if the system is stable you're obviously not too hot.

What heatsink and fans are you running on the CPU's? If that's stock cooling, you're doing alright.

thats a massively too high of an idle temp, what are your load temps?

what HSF are you using?

do you mind noise?

If you want a good quite solution, get some Zalman 6000's (work great on both my dual p3 (1.4 tully) and dual amd setup in the sig) my load temp on the amd is 42 c on both cpus! with amitemp of 24c (or 82f)

Load temp of 65C is fine. Don't sweat it if it doesn't crash. My dual 1700+ XP @ 2100mhz (1.725, 15x140) run at ~55 and ~65 full load with SK-7's and Panaflo H1A's.

One tip I would suggest you do is remove the stock northbridge cooler and get a zalman blue. You will have to save the original pins though.

Those temps work, but they are a bit high for my tastes. By the way, my case runs hotter open, than it does closed.
