My loop contains a swiftech mcp655 - heatkiller 3.0 - swiftech 320 rad - heatkiller 285GPU v2 - swiftech 220 rad - res - back to pump. My question is, I want to install a EK EVGA Classified waterblock to the loop.

1. Would I be able to include this to the loop?
2. Should I make two loops and if so, should I get another mcp655?
3. Can I use the same res for both loops?

1. Yes. You don't need another pump.
2. You can but you don't need to.
3. Depends on the res that you use. Some reservoirs are designed to accommodate 2 pumps. Otherwise you're going to need another res for the second pump.
 
I'm glad to see this discussion... I am heading in a very similar direction. Adding a 280gtx to go sli, into a corei7, 280 gtx loop with a 655 pump, and expanding to 5x120 worth of radiator - and maybe adding in the mobo chipset. I'd prefer to not add a second pump or loop if it's avoidable.

From a strict fluids theory standpoint there is no reason you can't have 2 pumps in series to overcome extra head... but I've only seen it done twice. Anyone reading ever do this for PC cooling??
 
you will be fine. Personally I would make two loops if you have adequate room in your case. I like dual loops. more work and money but whatever
