Do I need a soundcard?

I'm building a new rig and I'm about to order these speakers:

Logitech Z-2300 200 watts RMS 2.1 Speaker System

I ordered this MB

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard

I'm going to be doing 80% gaming and the rest 20% will be movies and music. I enjoy good sound but i'm on a budget. Didn't wanna spend more than 100 on speakers.

So like the title says would I have to invest on a sound card or will the onboard soundcard fill my needs?

is this UT3 noob mobusta? you need an x-fi to play ut3-its the best use of 3d sound ever made in a game! it might stay that way for a long time as 3d sound in games has lost steam lately- thx vista

$100 gets the Swan M10.

Just onboard sound sucks. Coupled with those logitech? ugh

Get a x-fi gamer and either a decent set of headphones or some Swan M10 speakers. I will rummage around for a cheaper pair of speakers. I need a $50-75 set to recommend to folks.
