I am asking because I am planning on getting a 20gig HD from a buddy pretty soon and need to know if I need more power.

My current system specs are as follows:

Shuttle Spacewalker AK35GT/R
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
Linksys 10/100 NIC
Philips Acustic Edge 5.1 sound card
ATI Radeon 9000 Pro
TDK 52X burner
old Compaq DVD drive
120 gig HD
2x 60 gig HD's
1x 10 gig HD

All powered by an Antec Smart Power 400w.


Soon to add a 20 gig if all goes well, so will I need more power?
 
Probably not, but I would ditch all those hard drives, and get one or 2 big ones. You save on space, power, and heat.
