Do any video cards do audio over 2 outputs?

I currently use an ATi 3850. Id does have 2 dvi outputs, but when you use a converter to HDMI one will put out audio - the other will not.

I'm wondering - do any graphics cards do audio over 2 outputs? Maybe the 5000 series?

My Nvidia 9400 gt does that just fine.

yes I used to use my pc as htpc as well in my bedroom and my monitor have build in speakers just like the tv, and the audio comes out of both the tv and my monitor.

His setup is different. Those Nvidia cards use SPDIF headers that connect to SPDIF out on todays average mobos.

ATI uses an onboard realtek chip tho I believe it only works one at a time.
