do all TN panels have the same quality?

is it true that TN panels produced by LG.Philips is better than other manufacturers like Chimei or AUO? ito color reproduction/viewing angle etc..

or all TN panels are the same. thx.
 
they vary. they all have their pros and cons. lg usually makes great image quality, but again it really comes down to each model number.
 
The only TNs I would get are Samsung and LG. Ive seen AUO and they look washed out. I have to samsung panneled dells in front of me and they are good monitors but the blacks arent the best but they are as good as it gets for TNs.
 
ive seen some horrific tn panels too, but the 225bw is beautiful looking. i absolutely love how fast the refresh rate is, clearly the biggest advantage tn's have. the light bleed though... what a damn shame.
 
Who's panels are Sceptre using these days for their 20 and 22 inch widescreens?
