Do Addatives make a difference in H2O cooling?

Additives definitely make a difference, but I think you'll notice the difference if the your doing TEC cooling or refrigerants.
 
It never did with my systems, the only thing the additives were supposed to do was prevent galvanic corrosion, which they did, or did not, as i've never had any in my systems which use only pre H2O.
 
water wetters are crap - they are expensive, and don't really do that much for your temps. they do however prevent bacteria growth in your water, which is a good thing. and if you get a UV-reactive or colored water wetter = bonus! :)
