Well, another issue with the DL585. I got linux installed under 2 8386's with 8gb of ram on 4 sticks. After configuring everything how I wanted it and powering off to install the other processors and ram, nothing but issues. At first it would boot but not go into linux. After a memtest run I saw I had some bad ram. Now I can't get the thing to boot back to even the bios.
I've switched out all the ram, removed processors 3 and 4, etc. All that is installed right now are cpu's 1 and 2, and 8gb of ram. The board "boots", but errors out on code 42 and all of CPU 2's ram lights light up. I've swapped the ram with several other sticks and no go.
I'll update if I can get it to boot.
