DIY MP3 Player kit.

I remeber seeing an article from somewhere about a DIY mp3 player kit. It was a PCB with buttons and the works, you could use a hardrive for storage or something...
I was thinking about this in the shower last night. A custom built plexiglass MP3 player would rock, with LEDs, a moded window hardrive, etc.
I was wondering if anyone had links to DIY mp3 players.
 
um such a device would have about 5 minutes of battery time and the harddrive would be in constant danger of dying all of a sudden. you would be better off building one that uses a CF or SM card.
