I was wondering if anyone has made a Highly available ZFS storage cluster? The protocol I would be using more then likely would be NFS to allow for snapshots and easier backups with VMware. I am looking at this to be used in a DEV lab.

I have done it with Linux HA clustering but I like the feature set of ZFS better and if i set this up right better performance.

I have been looking at this more, and it looks like if i want to do this right, I should look at using SAS and its multipathing capability / shareing disks.

It might be just worth it to buy a cheep HA San from someone.

Sub, you have any ideas on how to do the ZFS send/receive based system? I am open to suggestions.
