I was hoping I could get some feedback from you guys. I'm building a custom SFF case from scratch and I was hoping for some ideas. I want it to be cube style that utilizes 120mm fans but just having problems mocking up a rough draft of what I want to build exactly. I was thinking of doing it in two tiers, the bottom being the hdds, DVD drive, and psu. On the the top I would do the rest. I will build the entire frame out of angle iron welded together but other than that I can really take any feedback from you guys. Thanks!

Maybe you can take a look at the Lian li V350. IMO that case did a pretty good job in terms of placements except for the back.

For that case, if you swap the PSU and HDD spots around, you can fit a 120mm exhaust right beside the CPU area

PS, Tremeloes did a mod like that, maybe you can take a look in the SFF gallery

If you could realize a cube case with the proportions of matx (10"x10"x10") that would be incredible. If you did with HD,PSU,DVD on bottom and a clear top, you could pull off some delicious plain view watercooling.
