I wasn't sure where to put this, so i apologize if it's in the wrong place....

I want to put a bunch of my dvd's onto my computer(ones that i own) so that I can turn my computer into a movie jukebox. However, I want to be able to preserve the digitial sound. I have a lot of free space to work with, but ideally each movie would be under 1 gig after all the compression. Any idea how i can keep the sound so that it outputs to my stereo correctly? Thanks.
