Divx Vidoe Player Is Purple

Hi,
When i try to play video files. mpeg, divx the colour of the movie is purple! why does this happean and can someone please tell me how to fix it! I have only played mpeg and divx files and they are both purple!

I would like to know this aswell, this always happens to me with Quicktime movies when streaming them inside a browser.

go to the properties for the respective player and disable hardware acceleration (make it use software mode). i'd bet you have a nVidia video card, huh? i had this issue w/ quicktime, media player, etc. after getting my 7800GT. i can't remember if it happend before or after i installed purevideo, but take it to software mode to fix the problem..

I have had this problem a few times too. I just restarted and it was fine though...
