Hi everyone,

Hopefully this is a simple overlook, but on the page http://trideltafsu.com/temp/ I can't seem to figure out why the Footer isn't appearing below the main content (<div class="wholeContent">).

Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Always appreciated!

Try moving the footer div outside the wholeContent div.

I am pretty sure that will fix it.

Put this before the footer

Code:
<div style="clear:both;"></div>

Let me know if that fixes it.

When i try this, the content remains in the same vertical position, but is just shifted to the left border of div wholeSite

Gave this a shot - no luck. I'm wondering if it has to do with floating the menu and content areas (divs logoMenu and wholeContent), then within the content area floating the blue box and the yellow box?

eh, was looking to see what was in the "sisterhood" link. I ARE DISAPPOINT.

but back to the subject. The easy way to fix this is just to save the web page with explorer, load it, edit it with notepad and move stuff around. once the page works modify the php scripts. $PROFIT$
Nothing like notepad to track down annoying alignment and javascript issues.

Try setting the doctype to:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

This doesn't change the site's display. I've used Strict in all my previous projects without difficulty. This one is just proving to be a pain in the ass.

ADD = Add this
MOD = Modify this
REM = Remove this
RMV = Remove this (optional but recommended)

Code:
#wholeContent {
REM	float: left;
ADD	display: inline-block;
}

div.contentMainLeftTop {
REM	height: 20px;
}

div.contentMainRightTop {
MOD	float: right;
REM	margin: -20px 0 0 600px;
ADD	margin-top: 30px;
}

#footer {
RMV	float: left;
}

Contact me (via IM) if you want an explanation of why you are having this problem.

Also I have to point out on the girl on the far right of the header picture -- her boobs are on the brink of slipping out. :rolleyes: Need that 'fixed'? :p
