Curious what people think of as the best monitor and technology for relieving eye strain and extended monitor usage (5+ hours) for 2D work and gaming.

Would going with a monitor that has a higher refresh rate 120/144hz such as the BenQ XL2420TE be more beneficial for the eyes than an IPS panel with higher color accuracy, viewing angle etc. such as the HP Z24i? No PWM is a must. Does anyone have any experiences with AG coating affecting eye fatigue?

I find it difficult to use my 2407WFP-HC for more than 2 hours without needing to give the eyes a break even on lower brightness and well lit working areas.

Larger screen from longer distance = easier on the eyes.

Bbiggest difference I've noticed was going to a monitor that doesn't use PWM dimming. Everyone is different though and it may not help you.
