DisplayPort to HDMI, no Display, no BIOS, no Windows

bought a cable displayport to hdmi
monitor is hdmi only
ati 570 has 3 displayports and 1 hdmi and 1 dvi
dp-hdmi cable connected to monitor
no signal
no bios
no windows
what to do in bios?
and how
mobo h81m ds2
 
flaky cable maybe, try a DVI to HDMI cable.

I am using this one (or one identical to it since it has the same style and logo on it).

Even though it says it does not carry audio, I was getting audio from a 1080ti to my Asus HDMI only monitor.

Also, why aren't you using a straight HDMI cable?
 
hdmi to hdmi works ok
72 hz freesync
i want a boost to 75 hz

something was needed to be adjusted in bios
but i forgot what
