I recently purchased.

XFX AMD HD6850

Acer S243HL LED Monitor

The HDMI port is currently connected to the Samsung HDTV. I want to connect to the Acer monitor (for desk use) and get audio support. HDMI audio works with this monitor, I tested it last night (HDMI to HDMI). Since the out PC serves as office and HTPC functions, the HDMI port is already occupied. From what I've read (link) DisplayPort should support audio.

I need a DisplayPort to HDMI cable that supports audio. Monoprice's documentation does not seem to reflect this.

Can you guys clarify and point me in the right direction?
 
if you put "displayport to hdmi audio" in google, it returns 100's of exactly what you are looking for
