recently I was searching for a new laptop but couldnt find any with my likings .
I love my current laptop, it was a compal barebook witch I configured myself.
It has a T9400 CPU in it
8GB ram
9600GT
128Gb Corsair SSD
ODD 2.5inch bracket with 1TB samsung HDD
and a nice 1680x1050 display.
I just use my laptop to browse the web or watch a movie when im on vacation.
Yesterday I did something stupid : closed the lid while there was a ring on my palm rest.
And now I have a vertical stripe in my screen witch is only noticeable on gray and light blue colors.
In have repaired a few LCD´s in the past , so no biggie for me .
But this made me wonder , can I upgrade my laptop to 1920x1200? Because that would be awesome!
Its still the same 30pin right? And will my inverter be sufficient?
The inverters connector doesn't bug me that much , I can Solder and even have some skill in brazing.
