Hey,

I'd like to get some discussion going about how people setup their desktop displays. I currently have one 24" TN. I got it because it's cheap and I game. However I also watch movies and animes often. To my knowledge, Gaming and Movies do not mix on one screen. Gaming goes for TN for fast response. Movies go for better panel technology for better contrast and colors, IPS [VA too?] So how does one set up their desk? I'm sure plenty of us game and watch movies. Which panel do you keep as your main? I'm sure you wouldn't game on a lcd that is not directly in front of you. But then that probably means its a TN and not that great for movies. So your movie lcd is not in the middle. That brings your speakers into play. How do you arrange them to get even sound?

The LCD Setup Thread is stickied. Look through it. You'll get a ton of different ideas. I'm about to post mine in there any day now.

I run a Samsung LN40A500 1080P LCD as my Center LCD and run 2 Dell 2209WAs in Portrait on the sides. Then beside the side LCDs are Energy C-100 Bookshelf Speakers. I don't run an actual center right now, but it's on order(C-C100). I just ran the test tones off my Marantz sr4002 Receiver to get even sound output to where I sit.

I don't own any TN panels as I am quite dissatisfied whenever I use them. For me it is S-PVA in the center and two e-IPS on the sides. The sides are usually playing TV shows, like my DVDs of "It's Always Sunny...", or viewing design or testing docs. Here's a photo with a crappy camera that was lying around a few weeks back:

I will put up a better image when I get home from work tonight. This one is godawful at best. I also really need a new lamp...
