I ordered one from Amazon an I didn't get the mini so I'm going return it. I just want to try eyefinity before I have to leave for a week on Monday so I'm searching my locally area and there is a Best Buy 30 miles from me that has one of these in stock. . So just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this adapter. Or anyone on the South Shore of MA know where I can pick one up.

for eyefinity you need an active adapter.
frys is the only BM that ive seen carry those. dont know if there are any around.

That's the one I ordered and have in my possession now. I needed the mini display port adapter. I know it has to to be active but wondering if that rocketfish is active.

doubtful. if they dont mention eyefinity or anything like that in the description.
your more likely to find a mini dp to dp converter locally than an active one.
