I know you guys probably get a lot of people asking these sorts of questions, and I understand how frustrating it must be, so I'd like to apologize in advance.
I'm looking to buy a new, reasonably priced monitor.
I'd like to use it primarily for my PC, but would like to be able to connect my PS3 to the monitor via HDMI, as I don't have an HDTV. (I'd also like an audio out option for some external speakers). In other words, I understand that I need a monitor which can display certain aspect ratios/ resolutions suitable for a console such as a PS3.
I've been looking at a few options, but here's the catch; I live in New Zealand.
A lot of the monitors I see recommended (eg samsung T240HD) aren't for sale here. I'd really like to try to buy from within the country, just incase something goes wrong with the display. One monitor I've seen for sale here is the P2370HD. I'd like a monitor in this similar price bracket, is the P2370HD a very good display?
