display keeps going off every hour or so.

i have a windows 7 pc hooked up to my hdtv with vga. every so often the display just goes black but i can hear the sound from the pc. i switch the tv input buttons and go back to vga and the picture comes back on. but it will do it again.

i changed pc power saver settings to never(shutdown, sleep, ect).
 
is this more likely a problem with the pc/windows 7 and my hdtv or maybe the pc's gpu?
 
Well you can always update the videocard drivers, and check the sleep settings in windows...
