Display dilemma

I want to replace my current CRT monitor with a new display. As i am on a limited budget I have to choose between the ACER AL1916ws or two low-end 17'' tfts (preferably Samsung or Vewsonic).

The delemma is between choosing one ws tft or a dual setup...

Any opinions on what should I choose?
 
And what are you doing with this new monitor setup?

Gaming, video editing?

Sorry for not mentioning it before.

I use the pc for browsing, gaming (via an xbox) but I mainly use it for program developing
