I've got two ASUS VH242H displays that I absolutely love, one is brand new, the other is approaching two years old.
The problem I am encountering is on the older display, it is noticeably dimmer than the new display. I've made sure both displays are set to the same preset, and while not necessarily a deal breaker as this display will mainly be used for movies, hulu, extended desktop when I need it, etc, it is slightly annoying and I'd like to attempt to fix it if possible.
I haven't run through a calibration yet, not real sure it would help. Perhaps I should attempt to calibrate both displays? Or is the older monitor just showing it's age? Could this possibly be something with the second DVI port on the video card causing this? I am running DVI to both displays from an XFX Radeon 6970.
