DISM tool to shrink WIM making WIM larger...?

So I used DISM to shrink my fully updated and captured .WIM image of windows 8 enterprise x64

I followed this guide:

After following this guide, my image GREW by half a gig. What gives? There's no error in the log that I can see, a few warnings but that's it... The image contains office 2013 32 bit, and all updates. This image was built using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2013.

I just did it, and had the same result. My .wim went up 300MB.

Did you compress your original wim? Maybe it's not maintaining that compression. Just throwing out ideas.

After compressing it reduced from about 8.5 gigs to just under 7gb.
