Does anyone know a way to run diskpar (no "t") on a raid 1 that will be the OS drive?
I've used diskpar on all kinds of RAID 5 drives from small (compaq smart array attached) to large (HP Enterprise Virtual Array) and on average seen a 20% improvement in read/write performance. I know it doesn't make as big a difference on RAID 1 sets but I haven't seen an easy way to set up a boot drive with diskpar.
Thanks,
