I have a files server that has about 13 drives in it (mostly 250's) and have decided to upgrade the box that runs it. anyone have any suggestions for a case that would fit that build?

there was once upon a time a drive cage that fit inside a bunch of 5.25 drives to make them more 3.5 drives. anyone seen something like that lately?

Yes, there are many alternatives.

But let me recomend you with the best alternative:

Sell those drives and buy a couple larger drives. You will eliminate heat, power, and reduce reliability issues.

But anyways, if you are looking for a 5in3 solution or a 3in2, then search newegg for "hot swap sata"

Lian Li makes a non-hot swap 3in2

Yes, Athena, CalPC, and LianLi makes a non swap device too. I believe newegg used to carry the athena and it was a solid little unit (3in2) for only 17 bucks.

I saw one on here once, that made 8/9 5.25's into like 14/15 3.5's.

I want a case that would hold all 3.5's since a FS has no real need for a CD.

*edit*
just saw the post on cases, found a couple to choose from.

Thanx
