ok so basically in short while trying to format my C: drive (in the blue bootup screen way of going about it) i deleted the partition on my D: drive but didn't format it.. how can i re-establish NTFS on there without losing my data?
 
not true. problem is all the programs that are any good at reconstructing data from a lost partition are for pay.

i'd use easyrecovery pro.
