Disc writing software?

What disc writing software do you guys like for Windows XP? I'm talking basic functionality here. I'm looking to write files onto DVDs for storage, and would like to avoid bloated applications like Nero.

Ain't it funny.... Not 2 years ago, a question like this would result in dozens and dozens of responses saying:

Nero 6 !!!

Much like it is for NOD32 (virus software) these days. Everyone loves it.

In the case of Nero, it's loved, past-tense.

How the mighty have fallen, and they did it by falling into the same trap developers always do. Buggy upgrades, bloated upgrades, and now.... Product Activation. It just seems that developers are completely unable to learn from others mistakes

Nero 7 was the nail. Nero 8 is the hammer, into the coffin, of Nero.
