I'm using a Fatal1ty sound card and I'm wondering where I would disable the onboard audio drivers at.

I looked everywhere in the BIOS, but I didn't see a place to do it there.

Is there any place on the computer then where i can disable/uninstall the onboard audio drivers to make sure that I'm using my new sound card?

Easiest way would be to go into Device Manager and Disable the onboard sound...

Need model of mobo.

If it's like a lot of boards, it's a Realtek AC97 codec which can be uninstalled in the add/remove programs in the control panel.

Then, you can go into integrated peripherals in your BIOS and disable it.

I would just disable it and not uninstall drivers, TBH.

Control Panel -> Sound and Audio Devices -> Audio tab -> Default device should be set to SB X-Fi Audio. No need to disable anything.

your using your new sound card aslong as you have speakers plugged into it and you can hear sound...
