Disabling CPU Fan?

I don't know but I think I spelled disabling wrong...

Anyway, I recently removed my CPU Fan that came with my computer (Dell) because it would actually whistle and it was annoying the crap out of me.
I replaced it with two 80mm Cooler Master fans connected by 3 or 4 molex, I can't remember at the moment. In any case, the CPU Fan was directly connected to the motherboard by a connector, so now when I start up the comp, I get a message stating "CPU Fan error, Press F1 to continue or F2 to enter setup". I've looked and I can't find anything to disable it on the BIOS (setup), so I'm lost as to where to do it.
Am I stuck with this stupid message forever?

And just so you don't get confused, my CPU itself still has a heatsink and such. The only thing I removed was the fan that moved the air from it.

Cut off the end of tail of the CPU fan and leave it on the mobo header.

I don't know if this will work but it's worth a try. Just make sure the wires don't touch anything.

thats tecnically the exact same thing as pulling the end off the motherboard in the first place cause all your doing is extending the pins with wires.

My advice, if those new fans have RPM monitoring is just splice the ends of one of them with the motherboard header that the old fan is on. Just cut the old fan off, twist + tape the new fans corresponding color wires onto the headers wires and plug her in and it should work fine.
