Disabling catalyst ai?

I am trying to disable catalyst ai in order to play with sikkmod enabled for Doom 3. The mod does not work currently, and the consensus opinion is that catalyst ai is the problem. What is the easiest way to turn off catalyst ai? Do I need to turn it back on for other games?

Have already unchecked the box under 3d application settings and it did not work.

In the meantime, I am playing Doom 3 with sikkmod on a laptop with 570m (roughly equivalent to gtx 460). But I think I could crank more graphics settings if I could get it to work on desktop with 7870 (given how much more powerful the 7870 is vs the 570m).
 
No, this is the Doom 3 classic from 2004. Again, I already have sikkmod running on the nvidia laptop. But I prefer to run on desktop since it has a more powerful gpu.
 
Use radeon pro, you can disable the individual functions of the AI on a per game basis
