I dont have a fix for the incorrect temperature reading on my motherboard for the cpu, so im still going to have consistant problems...Is there a way to DISABLE the cpu overheat protection on the board? Using either software or something, else i cannot find a way around beating the incorrect cpu temperature problems, the BIOS is just completely off and causing the reboots, and asus probe comes up with temps 30-40 degrees celcius cooler.

please help

If the temps are that far off, you should RMA the board. I had an Abit board a while back (IS7) that would report my cpu temps AND board temps to be about 20c off of what they actually were and they RMA'd it for me. Bios updates didn't cure the problem.

I assume you've tried updating the bios and stuff right?

I don't know if this helps because those boards were down for a while but there are the Asus forums. However, not many people post there (last time I looked). But you could do a search on that forum.
