Hi all, i want to do some testing on my HD 4000 graphics, and would like to disable my GTX 570.

Is there a way i can disable the discrete graphics card? ive tried plugging the dvi into the io port, but no signal

You need to enable the iGPU in the bios first. It's disabled by default if you have a discrete card.

i have the Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe motherboard..

i cant find any iGPU option in the bios :/

Not familiar with the Asus UEFI layout, you should go ask in the Intel motherboard subforum.

Why not just remove the GPU?

or

Does your MB have a jumper switch on it to disable the PCI-e slot(s)?

It's in there, if it's similar to the mATX board I have, it would be:

Advanced\System Agent Configuration \Graphics Configuration

Primary display: iGPU

Look for this in your owner's manual: Chapter3, 3.5.4, page 3-21 :D
