Disable fps display in upper right hand corner?

I just got my first ATI card (4670) and there is some stupid number displayed in upper right hand corner in games(it looks like the fps but I am not sure).

How do you disable this crap?

It's either the game itself or some third party software(Afterburner, Fraps, RadeonPro). AMD cards by themselves do not show that kind of information. It would help if you post a screenshot so we can see exactly what is being displayed.

I think I play black ops with you some times.
Master o master.
It is in the ATI tray tools
Look in there around where the fan profile stuff is.
You can change corners or the size of the font
Also just have it appear in game or not.
You can google it also

PS Look in your taskbar or hidden Icon place by the sound icon and time. Lower right hand side or your screen. You may see the AtI tray tool icon there.

Thanks I found it. That is pretty dumb you need ati tray tools installed just to disable that.

And no, I dont play black ops. That is someone else..

It is a feature of ATi Tray Tools, which is a 3rd party tool, which is not installed by normal drivers. Are you sure you didn't install it yourself?

Ahh ok. You could be right. Maybe I just wasnt paying attention before I had tray tools installed. Anyways figured it out.
