Disable Audits In Vista

Hi Everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to disable audits in Vista. Doing some troubleshooting and need to rule it out.

Are you referring to the auditing of application elevations and process creation under UAC?

If so, the procedures for enabling those can be found here. Scroll down to the section sub-heading "Audit Application Elevations and Process Creation".

I presume that disabling them is simply a matter of choosing the appropriate alternate setting. (I only have a 'Home' version here at present, so I can't access secpol to check.)
