Noob pc gamer question.

I’ve recently given up on console games and need a bit of help.

I'm purchasing a video card running directX 11. Will I be able to play older games using directX 9 & 10?

Also, I've chosen the XFX HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB. I'm on a budget of $200. Any thoughts or suggestions. :)

Yep, it's backward compatible. The 5830 for $200 is a good deal, it's good to see they're finally coming down in price. What resolution are you playing at Viirus?
