DirectX DirectShow crashing everything

Crysis and GoW are crashing regularly now (1 minute into Crysis and at the freakin menu in GoW, can't even play). When I try to access dxdiag, I get a popup:

"DxDiag has detected that there may have been a problem accessing DirectShow the last time this program was used. Would you like to bypass DirectShow this time?"

If I click Yes, it crashes dxdiag. If I click No I it works. So, I think that's what's causing my games to crash.

I reinstalled the ATI drivers and that didn't change anything. Other than installing these two games, I haven't changed anything on this computer in months. Weird that it has happened now, maybe those games changed something. Is there a way to reinstall DirectX 10?

Running an X1900XT and Vista x64 ultimate.
