Hi,

I have just finished building my HTPC (see signature) and I'm looking for a PCI card that can get my directv feed.

Do these exist? I'm looking for one for Vista x64bit.

Thanks!

you will need to hook your DTV box to your PC, as for x64 drivers for vista I am not sure, but the ATI 550 pr 650 chipsets are good tuners the hypauge pvr-1600 (iknow t hats not the right spelling) should be good also...

What model of directv receiver do you have?

BTW, those are awesome specs for an HTPC in your sig!

Are you looking to use your HTPC to control your DTV?

I would assume you could connect the outputs of the DTV to a TV tuner card and set it to use the s-video input instead of the built in tuner.

Then use a USB-UIRT and something like eventghost or girder to send IR commands to the DTV box.
