I've had my 2.6C for about two years now. For a while I had it at 3.25, but then it stopped being stable there and I had to back it down to 3.2. Recently it became less stable and I had to bump the voltage up from 1.575 to 1.6. Just now, it destabilized completely, and messing with the volts makes little difference. I dropped the RAM, which is DDR266 that I've been running at DDR400 all this time, down to a 3:2 ratio, which brought it down to about DDR314. It was stable like this for several hours (as opposed to several seconds before) but eventually crashed. I dropped it down to 2.6/DDR266 and it's been completely stable. I'd go for max stable OC but it's exam time now and I can't worry about it at the moment. Though I am tempted to just screw it and go for an Athlon X2 system. Anyway, what's more likely at this point, the RAM giving up the ghost or the CPU getting more finicky?
