Trying to see if I can mod a SFF system to accept a 6950/70 and am looking for some accurate measurements :)

If you could measure the front end of the card (i.e. opposite side from the pcie brackets) for width (top & bottom) in mm and height of the bottom and top of the card/hsf, using the 0mm start point as the plane of the motherboard.

I need to see the size/shape of the hole I will need to cut in the internal front metal part of a case to fit this card and will be using the plane of the motherboard as my reference point in the vertical axis.

Thanks in advance!

ok, inches/cm are fine... anyone got a spare minute and a tape measure?

I'm not about to stick a metal ruler into my powered pc so this was transferred with a wooden skewer.
Accuracy suffered accordingly.

hrmmm -- looks like the XFX card is out for me @ 11.3". I can fit 10⅞", I can even maybe shave enough off the interior bezel to fit 11", but 11.3" is right out :(

I saw that the HIS 6950 2GB was listed at 10.875", can anyone else confirm?

Both the 6950 and 6970 are 10.6", there's a bit of a problem with perspective in those shots. Think about how the card would slope downwards (perpendicular to the top) in that picture, and you can envisage it heading towards the left of the picture, not straight down the screen.
