Digital Vibrance Problem

As a competitive counter-strike play, i utilize my digital vibrance in order to see to the best of my ability. How come when i change my resolutions, my vibrance does not carry over through resolutions? I use desktop resolution of 1024 and play in 640x480. As my video card does not allow me to go to 640x480 in my options, how can i carry over my digital vibrance through resolutions, or change my desktop reolution to 640x480 even though i can't in options.

ATi Drivers: 5.2
Video Card: 9800pro
Monitor: Syncmaster997 DF
 
Why on earth play at such low resolution with such a decent graphics card? You can easily push that game on 1024x768 or 1280x1024.
 
Well, from my experience with nVidia, digital vibrance only works on desktop not overlays/games.

you play in smalelr res's because models are bigger
